7 June Cranberry House Trail, a new public path to the sand beach on Whistler Cove, is built in one day - National Trails Day.  Terry Towne of Maine Coast Heritage Trust (left) supervises the work.  More than 300 feet of "bog bridging" (right) were laid.
24 May Hitty's Café is finished, and opens.  Lauren Simmons offers a delicious menu of sandwiches and sweets. 
28 Apr Handicap lift is installed in the prepared shaft.
7 Mar Preparing handicap lift shaft: wall bracing installed (left) and shaft floor depressed 1.5" so lift platform will be level with main floor (right.)
25 Feb Workers cleaning up after installing a gas-log stove in the museum on the first floor.
4 Feb Archival storage shelves (left) and the Multimedia Center (right) are set up on the heated ground floor (basement.)

Just after the big New Year's Day blizzard, Cranberry House is looking good, and almost ready to open this season.
