Reverend Charles Nelson Davie was minister of the Great Cranberry Island Congregational Church from 30 Sept. 1897 to Nov. 1904.

He was ordained 27 May 1898.

He wrote a short note about the chandelier dedication and bell at the church.

Remarks about him in the chuch records: "Good worker.  Was faithful & kind.  A copy of letter of resignation is on page 89."
