The Brown House on Great Cranberry Island
Our cozy island home has some of the most magnificent views of Acadia and Mount Desert Island you will find around. Cranberry is a peaceful island made up of country lanes, fishing harbors and rock-strewn shores. The welcoming community includes a general store, library with wireless Internet access, and a church. The local lobstermen will be glad to sell you their day's catch for dinner.
Fully equipped home:
- Living room with TV and wood stove
- dining room with spectacular views across the water to Mt. Desert Island
- Fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with washer/dryer and full bathroom with shower
- Master bedroom with a queen bed, and a room with 3 twin beds. Large dorm room with double bed. Sleeps: 7
Enjoy the view and memorable sunsets from our back deck. From the deck, a path leads to an ocean tidal pool with our own private beach -- our family's favorite place.
