The Marsoobian House on Great Cranberry Island
| This house is located on Great Cranberry Island just off the coast of Mt. Desert Island. Much of the surrounding area is part of Acadia National Park. Boat service is available from Northeast Harbor or Southwest Harbor/Manset. The house has five furnished rooms. There is a country kitchen with large oak dining table, electric stove, refrigerator, dishes, pots & pans, cutlery etc. There is no washer and dryer. The living room has a sofa and a couple of rocking chairs. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed. The upstairs bedroom (a large room with two dormers) has three single beds, one of which opens into a double. There is a full bath with shower on the first floor. Sheets, towels and blankets are provided. There is a telephone (please charge long distance calls to your own phone). The house is a ten-minute walk from the dock. Parking is available at the harbor in Northest Harbor for $10.00 per night. Free parking in a designated spot is available in Manset (Near Southwest Harbor.) The cost is $600 per week (June-August) including all utilties except toll calls. Lower rates for off-season. Discounts for longer stays. A $300 deposit is required to hold your reservation. If you cancel and we are able to rent the cottage for the period of your reservation we will refund this amount; otherwise you will forfeit your deposit. The remainder is due prior to arrival.
